Floor mats optional???

I just got my GTS and noticed it had no floor mats but had the floor mat hooks. Should it not have the floor mats in place standard with car???

Got GT floor mats included with my Stinger but I don't think they are free with the car.

The carpeted mats come with the car. Only the all weather rubber mats are an accessory.

Did you look in the hatch? Chances are they left them back there or they forgot to give them to you. There should be mats for the rear seats too.

It's always something. My driver floor mat was not anchored on the left hook. Turned out the hook wasn't mounted through the floor board, but some idjit had put some kind of white glue on the clip and thought that would suffice. Heh! I had the dealer remove the panel and put the mat clip in properly. So, missing mats or some other niggling detail, "back to the dealer" is about right.

No way. Every vehicle I have ever purchased has come standard with carpeted floor mats. I'd argue it isn't safe without them as you have hooks sticking up from your floor.

Have you tried calling another dealer and asking them if the GTS comes with carpeted floor mats? Or if you have another dealer that is local, stop in and ask/look. You might want to find another dealer anyway if yours is going to be this difficult with such a trivial concern.
