First time new buyer

Hey guys, I'm deciding to join the hive! I just fell in love with the stinger design overall the moment I saw it in person.

My question is what is a good price for the new 2022 GT-Line w/ the sun and sound package? I plan on financing it since KIA is offering 0.9% for 60 months.

My first thought was buying a CPO 2019 or 2018 GT1 but with today's used sale market, the pricing went up by a high margin.

I just bought a 21 GT line but the dealer had a 22 on the lot so I asked what they could do for me on it. They weren’t willing to negotiate at all so right now MSRP is about as good as it’ll get. While I was shopping I asked a different dealer about a 21 GT they had and they gave me a price of 42k OTD, this was actually cheaper than the 22 GT line. In the end I decided to take savings over horsepower and got the 21 AWD GT line for 34.5k out the door.

I'm curious, you think the sunroof is unnecessary? I never had a car with a sunroof but it does seem like a nice thing to have.

My past two cars had sunroofs and they were nice but I could take them or leave them. I think the downside of the sunroof is just added weight and another potential point of failure to have to repair, I never had an issue with my past two sunroofs on my civics though. I wish they did a package with the upgraded stereo and LED lights, I definitely would have opted for that.

Howdy and welcome. I had three "must haves" and the sunroof was the third one. I've been blessed with a totally quiet one. As soon as it pushes 50F, the roof comes open. I used to close it on the freeway, but lately I've found myself forgetting to do that more and more often.
