We are talking about the exhaust in the first post video, the pictures are for a different version of the exhaust that doesn't feature the valve from the same manufacturer Jun BL.

Ahhh, that makes sense now. The one in the video definitely looks like a vacuum valve.

When you push the button valve opens, when you push it again it closes, that's it. When closed exhaust fumes go through resonator which muffles the sound and so makes exhaust quieter, when you open it fumes go directly through and exhaust is louder. Perfect for daily driver as listening loud exhaust at high speed on highway for hours on end isn't very pleasant experience
