Quick question.. I haven't been driving the stinger much the last 2 months since it's cold AF here in Minnesota, but I noticed there's some firmware updates for the jb4. I'm running 21/24/5.. anyways,my question is, I see 3 updates available.. labeled stable, beta, and alpha.. do I need to download all of em or?? Any info on this is helpful. 24_t8 especially looks interesting as I have EWG wires and downpipes and have over boosted I'm the past. Thanks gentleman

yeah, I wonder if we need all three also!! I have updated my jb4 with all of them but it's hard to tell if it's updated or not since I can keep uploading the same update as much as I want lol.

You just load the update you want to run. I suggest the latest alpha for anyone running EWG in colder weather.

Where is this firmware update? I cant seem to find it anywhere online? Why is all of this so hidden it seems?

It's all in the app.

The beta version (21v31) - is it stable/safe? Any timing correction issues?
Or am I safer running v28?

There are notes on each version on what they're working on. I would expect Burger only recommend going to a beta or alpha if you are specifically working on the thing that is being modified, or directly working with Burger on those changes.
They're all "safe" - they just expose different configurable things or change a few parameters to see what works better. If you're on maps 1, 2 or 3 then there haven't been any significant changes for a couple of years.

Gotcha, thanks. I went from 28 to 31 last week, but also did an ECU reset around the same time...so when I saw an increase in timing correction, was trying to determine if attributed to the reset/ECU rebuilding tables or if attributed to v31 upgrade

Timing corrections will be more interesting while the ECU is going through it's re-learn. It's probably best not to wail on the car right after an ECU reset.
