Have been waiting for delivery from Western Australia for a month and it arrived today, at last. I have owned over 30 cars with the vast majority of them being German, British or Italian. After living in Seoul I felt I had to get a Korean car and this is probably the best out there. Impressed so far, although the indicator stalk is a pain. Also noted that headroom isn’t great, anyone else over 6’ and struggling?

Welcome.

I'm 6'5" and fit fine, only issue is the steering wheel blocks the turn signal indicators.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your new Stinger! What did the Stinger replace for you? I'm glad you found us. :)

Whats this turn signal thing you speak of?

6'8" and no real issues. Guess im so used to being folded up in a car i dont even notice any more. I do usually have issues in every passenger seat though. Dash is usually in the way due to the glovebox most of the time

As funny as that is, and it definitely made me laugh, im telling.:rofl::laugh:

But again that bow shot definitely goes up on the board As a win

Answers!

Indicator stalk is on the right, which is a first for me. It means that i am cleaning my windscreen every time I make a turn…

Carbon Edition - possibly an Australia model only (?) - is a MY20 car with a few limited paint colours and some carbon bits thrown at the car (diffuser, vents, trims, wing mirrors, grill surround etc). Also a plate on the central tunnel. Mine is HiChroma Red, which is nice as I have always liked metallic reds.

It didnt replace anything specific as I have just emigrated to Australia, but previous cars include 7x Alfas, 4x Porsche, numerous Land Rovers, AUDIs, Jag F Type, Lotus Evora, VW Californias, FIATs, BMW Z4, Ferrari 328 and a few other random machines.

Wife, who normally hates my cars, seems very taken with the Stinger.

Also, the Carbon Edition is a 3.3 GT (no 4WD option for Oz) and also has a heated alcantara steering wheel!

Sounds very sweet alright. Welcome to the forum. (washing your windshield every time you turn, lol :D). Nice atmospheric pic, I snagged it for my calendar options folder. (thanks for not smudging out the plate, that ruins the whole thing)

No dramas - it was darker than it looks, but the iPhone brightens everything. The plates here are pretty ugly though - horrible font and they come from the maker with about 8 pre-drilled holes which look a bit shite when mounted. German, UK and some US plates look a lot nicer!

Nice one.
Welcome to the group and welcome to Australia.:thumbup:
Cheers dude! Do most Australians realise how great their country is? I have visited about 70 countries on the planet and lived in 7. Australia is truly epic!
