Well, finally we have some options to help out folks. Those rotors are a bit pricey for the average Joe, any options similar to stock?

Which set would you recommend when paired with OEM rotors and why?

Are they all in stock right now?

I'm sure they're dusty as hell too. But at least the car won't feel like it's having a seizure when braking.

I wouldn't go with those Hawk pads unless you want a lot of noise and dust as they're a higher performance pad. My choice would be the Girodisc pads or the Stoptech's with the OEM rotors as they're more middle of the road with low noise/dust and decent performance. The Centric's might be ok but i'm guessing they won't grab as well as the OEM pads.

@NICK_KHAR interested to hear your opinion as well on which pad to pair with the OEM rotors

My experience with the Hawk HPS is the same... quite loud, lots of dust.

@NICK_KHAR Excellent news! Agreed that a quick comparison of the pads would be good. I'm familiar with all the compounds except the GiroDisc, but would be good to hear someone else's viewpoint.

No, it's a pair. They'd have to provide left/right options if it was a single.

ALL options are in stock and will ship out same day or next day depending what time order was made

850 is for the pair


If you purchase pads it would be highly recommended to get your stock rotors machined before installing

As far as what pads for what
GiroDisc Magic pad would work great with OEM Rotors
Girodisc magic pads are well known throughout the industry
Very low dust about the same braking performance as OEM pads and no noise

Next up is the Ceramic Posiquiets
Made by Centric they are a 100% ceramic pad- about the same dust as oem these are also an OEM replacement

Stoptech Performance Streets - About same dust as OEM, "usually" quiet but does have better stopping performance than OEM

HAWK HPS - High Performance Brake compound, usually very dusty and VERY noisy, but they will stop on a dime


If you just want an OE replacement for the stop rotors

I would normally say you always want to put pads on fresh rotors but assuming that week of driving was pretty light you "should" be okay

YA my week of driving is never light... did you see the meet we just had? There was tons of fast moving breaking hard and flying around going on... I may wait a bit until I can get the rotors as well. Thanks for the help!
