Take 2 of " Gotcha Day " a few of you will know that my first time of picking up my Stinger didn't go as planned.
Today was Fantastic. Sun was out, we went up to Melbourne, the car was checked over, we are taking it for aftermarket PPF and ceramic coating so the dealership didn't wash it except the roof. The detailer advised us to take it to him " as is " so there would be no scratches and swirl marks put on it by people washing it with dirty sponges etc.
We asked to take it for a drive first, it had the bimodal fitted, I think the sales guy was a little surprised by our request but after the first time we wanted to make sure everything was ok.No dash rattles, sunroof okay, checked all lights were working, then we signed the paperwork. Plates applied, we had a coffee while we all waited for it to be registered. 9kms on the clock, enjoyed our drive back, went for a spin once home by myself, hubby looks and says " you put it in sports mode? " chuckled and said " your'e a rev head "
Now to do some reading on the ins and outs of the car, " Sonic " is beautiful and I'm so happy.

Thanks, it's so comfortable sitting in it, love the heads up display and the fact it alerted us to all the speed cameras on the way home  , when it got dark, it took us a while to find how to change the mood lighting because there is nothing in the manual.Really enjoying the low growl of the exhaust when idling.:)

Congratulations, the wait was worth it to "get it right".
Which Dealer?

Where's fly boy? He'll be kicking himself he wasn't the first to congrats:p.

Nice to hear, true no one can resist a low growl.

The most comfortable seats I've ever laid my derriere in.

Which Dealer?
The Original, " South Morang ",they wanted it to be Mickey Mouse this time. They were very particular about the car and kept thanking us for giving them the chance to make it right this time and they came through.:)
The first car we had was on the showroom floor as well, it's a demo model now, it was sent to the panel beaters and the paint work looks A1.
The sunroof is still another matter, it wasn't just a rubber sealant issue, the whole sunroof needs to be replaced we were told, they have to wait about a month to get a new one and it will cost them $7,000, guess it was fate, we weren't meant to have that one.

What a relief, I hope you can now relax and enjoy your time together. Your car looks good and it was nice to see the dealer being a little more humble. I hope you can get along to those Vic meets to.

Anyone know a good smash repair that can do her badges for her? Maybe in Geelong area.?
Unfortunately, I do not know of a smash repair I can recommend here in Melbourne for @Flameangel to have her Stinger rebadged, hopefully she might be lucky to find a smash repair not too far from home, or if anyone else can help from here.

Nice, you have made a great choice, i keep thinking of reasons i need to go for a drive :) I didn't even think of taking a picture of the bow.

Enjoy.

This is good news. And I feel good about you patching it up with the original dealer too. Happy people on both sides.
" Sonic " is beautiful and I'm so happy.
That's a good name. Why did you pick that one?

Sooooo happy for you! I remember your feeling exactly; it doesn't wear off. Mine's having her 18-month birthday this Friday, and I'm still thrilled.

You are going to have so much fun! Sonic—like the hedgehog? Perfect!
