Since I sold my Dragy to a friend, I decided to make one last 1/4 mile run on my favorite private road yesterday. I figured with temp at 79, I would finally have some traction and could get some decent numbers. Nope, I was wrong, still spun the rears all the way through 1st and part of 2nd:

Can't wait to see what it will do on an actual drag strip, if I can ever make it out to one.

Nice trap speeds though. What are your mods?

Second half and trap look good!

JB4 on map 3, intakes, midpipes and catback.

And thanks, although those times are actually among the slowest I've run...lol. I've hit as high as 94 in the 1/8th and 119 in the 1/4 (which oddly was invalid even though it's the same spot as other valid results). Amazes me I can get such high traps but such avg ETs.

I've never managed to get the perfect combination down (i.e., launch control on map 3 versus stomp-and-go on map 5).

94 and 119 sounds like an 11. There are spots open on the dragy 1/4 mile list.

Are you using boost by gear? Try 5.0 in the 'max boost 1st' field of settings > user adjustment. Remember, ET is simply a byproduct of a good launch; trap speeds indicate how much power you're making.

Yeah I tried lowering boost before and threw a code (turbo overspeed), so now I'm hesitant about trying it again.

Went out for one more run before handing over the Dragy after I realized I never tried a 1/4 mile with the jb4 off. Even with it off and at stock boost, I still spun badly using launch control:

man thats worst traction than me and my traction sucks on winter tires. What tires and wheels are you using?

I'm on stock summer tires (what's left of them) and wheels. I thought the warmer temps would help with traction but it's still spin city. I'm not even gonna bother again until I can make it out to the track.

Yikes. Your roads must not be very clean lol

Injen intakes, SSR mids and Ark catback. And full disclosure, there was a driver mod too; the dragy's new owner was actually driving the car alone, and since he's a tiny manlet (130 lbs vs my 250), that may have helped.

lol 120 lbs does make a difference. Not bad at all for just basic bolt ons.

Hi, I just bought the dragy and have been doing some runs and I'm curious to know why my acceleration is very jumpy. I'm not feeling anything different while accelerating. This was tested using launch control (awd). I've tried the stomp on gas method, but, I get atleast a full second slower run. Any help is appreciated!

Make sure the dragy is on the dash and try again. Maybe the Sat connection not the best.
If sats bad it should say low satelites and give you an invalid.

Hmm, okay thanks. I will leave it on the dash this time! Earlier runs I just held it level on my steering wheel :p
