As the Midwest winter weather is here, I noticed a fan noise when I turn on the climate control. This morning, when I turned on the heat, I can hear a propeller/fan noise that has a clicking noise. The noise does eventually lessens over time and eventually goes away after 45mins of driving. The sound is coming on the passenger side near the glove box. Heat works. It's just the clicking noise that sounds like from a fan when I turn on the climate control. Anyone experienced this?

Funny, I have the same issue. Only occurs when it's cold out. Once the cabin warms up it stops happening. For the most part I've just tolerated it.

sounds like you have debris stuck in the fan.

How did debris get stuck in the fan? Is there a way to see and/or remove without taking apart entire dash board? The air filter and cabin filter have been replaced, per maintenance schedule.

the inlet is on the passenger side below the wipers. i'd just pull out the cabin filter and check with a flashlight. otherwise the lower tray will have to come out to remove the blower motor. it's not a difficult job.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
For me at least, I already checked to see if there was debris hitting the fan. Sadly that wasn't the case. Still only happens when it's cold.

My fans make a slight noise if I really listen for it but its only as fan speed 1 with the windsheild fans activated.

UPDATE: Today was above freezing...a bit warmer compared to the other day. Anyhow, the fan/clicking noise did not happen today. The only thing different was the weather being warmer with no snow. I will continue to monitor and see if the fan/clicking noise appears in the next few weeks when the weather drops to freezing with snow. Happy Holidays, all!

Makes me wonder if it’s ice forming in there? Clogged drain?
