Faint Scratching/Squealing Noise Coming From A/C

As my car hit about 15,000 miles, there has been this faint scratching/squealing noise coming from the A/C at low speeds and at stops. I finally took it in to the dealership to have it looked at suspecting the compressor is broken. According to the tech, the noise is from the freon in the A/C system going across the evaporator pipe and bubbleing, thus making the noise.

Has anyone else had this issue? It's annoying but can be drowned out by music/podcast.

My dealer charged me $100 to investigate and claim that they didn't find any problems. on a car with 6.5k miles at the time. Not going back to that dealer.

I hear the noise as well, kind of like a gurgling. They said the system is fully charged. It's worse the hotter it is outside.

Nope. Brand new with 6 miles on it when I rolled off the lot. Didn’t buy it from the dealer I got ripped off with the service though.

It is a kind of gurgling noise and it is worse when it's hot outside. Thankfully, my dealership didn't charge me anything. Does yours still have that noise?
