Factory valved exhaust remote

Hey all, I have a 2022 G70 3.3 sport with the factory valved exhaust. I wanted a way to open them up in comfort without just unplugging them. I understand the new Stingers also have the same system. Based on what I found the valves are somewhat universal between a handful of manufacturers. I found a kit from apr that works with dual exhaust valve systems and gave it a try. Sure enough it plugged right in and worked! I now have full control of the factory valves and can open and close in any drive mode at my will. Figured if it worked for me it may for you as well!!


This is the kit I used. There are a couple others around but this was the most complete I found without spending over $300.

This also seems to holds the last setting on power off as well. So if you shut the car off with the valves open they stay that way and vice versa. So if you want a quieter cold start the next day just shut the valves when you turn off the car the night before and bingo!

Here’s a short video. Just noticed the little tick/rattle on the passenger side, thinking it’s just from being dirty as heck. So after I wash it I’ll check it out again and see if it’s gone.

I just wanted to verify that this kit fits the G70/Stinger valves. Says its for its 2015-2021 Audi S3, TTS, Volkswagen Golf R

I have this on my stinger. It works great and yes it remembers the previous setting. I unplugged in for now and plugged back the factory wiring for now. Might plug it back in again soon as i was trying to troubleshoot a rattling problem (had a loose clamp). You can even program the garage door opener buttons to work with that so you do not have to use a remote all the time.

It makes my borla active sound pretty amazing. Gets even louder since valve is fully open. But yeah i definitely can recommend getting it. I would just leave it open all the time. Now that i am talking about it going to lift car this Saturday plug it back in. It's amazing how good the brubles sound on the new borla active catback.
