I wanted an eye catching thread title to get some input on this topic. I have been looking for a Ceramic Silver GT1 AWD for almost 4 months now. The ceramic silver GT2 AWD exist in an overabundance in my area and they all have red interior. The only ceramic silver with black interior in my area are GT1s. BTW, I wish I could find the SEMA orange. That is a great looking car!

Now here is the confusing part, when I go online to KIA's website to "build and price" Stingers, the Ceramic Silver color option is only shown for GT1 and GT2 configurations. Imagine my surprise when I see that the west coast has Ceramic Silver GTs. This whole time I have just been looking for a black interior, ceramic silver GT1 and GT2 without even considering the GT.

I think that it is regrettable that I really want this car, but I am finding it so very difficult to get the exact car I want even within the options available. I do not want a red interior and I want a Limited Slip differential. I wish I understood KIA's plan regarding the rollout of this car.

What I am experiencing on the east coast is that if you want a GT, it had better be blue and maybe yellow. If you want a ceramic silver car, it had better be a GT2 with AWD and a red interior. SO FRUSTRATED that the car I want is not to be had, and a car that isn't even possible according to KIA's website is sitting in showrooms on the west coast. Does anyone have any idea what is going on or why they have rolled the car out in this way?

Are you able to order one? When brands go "upmarket" there are usually more options, people can get their car any way they want, but from what I've observed, Kia just wants to get cars out there and their dealers just want to sell what's on the lot. Perhaps more focus should be applied to the buyer that knows what they want and is willing to wait a month or two for it to arrive? I know the point has been made on this forum where Kia could benefit from a better dealer experience for buyers - this is one of those elements IMO. My local dealers are fine though - no premium talk and I can get invoice out of them, going to push into their holdback dollars next...

Good luck with what you want. I am lucky in that there are blue GTs here in PA where I am...wondering whether they will remain here when I buy
