Hello! I posted on here a while back on how to get a Kia stinger premium in price range... that never happened so I was going to get a Nissan Maxima as first car. Lucky me, my dad went over price range and got me a Kia stinger gt1 AWD in panthera metal. Stinger has been my favorite car since it came out so this truely wa s a blessing... anyways I’ve had it for a week and as I’ve been finding removable stickers and plastic scattered around the car, I noticed 3 clear thick stickers on the bottom back doors... one each side. I removed one and it wasn’t a normal sticker but it was still easily removed and left the paint under it totally fine. I don’t know if these were supposed to be removed by my shitty ass dealer or are they there for paint protection? It doesn’t make sense that they are there for protection... just wondering if I should continue removing them. Glad to join the community with my stinger, love it. Thanks. Bonus: quick beauty shot of the panthera color ;)

They're for paint protection, from rocks going back through the side vents.

LOL! If you do what I did - removed all three on one side and then change your mind - you'll be out roughly fifty bucks to replace them. I did a good job putting them back on too. But "haste makes waste."

I didn't think that rocks would be coming from the front brake vents. Rather, the "pinched waist" design makes rocks flipped up by the front wheels possibly impact the flared body panels in front of the rear wheels. I reckon if you ever put mod guards on the rear of your front wheel wells that will put paid to any possible rocks to the rear regions. :P But there's no reason to remove the PPF patches that come on the car, and they just might save your paint from a ding.

I don't need them either. Useless, is what i think. And go to a hardware store, probably get a whole roll of small screening for way cheaper.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
