Expected time for KMF account to activate

I leased my car on Dec 29 and called the dealer finance manager today to ask when my KMF account would be active. He told me 30-45 days. I was hoping to buy out the lease before my next payment. Is this normal? I’ve seen posts from others that it took 10 business days. Any advice to expedite this? I’ve been trying to log into KMF website with my VIN for the last 3 days with no luck.

Mine took exactly seven days to appear. Yours was likely slowed down by the holiday and should be showing any day.

Whatever you do, don't call them though. They're not the most competent bunch at kmf.

I leased mine on the 28th and the account activated for me about 4 days ago

Mine took 3 weeks.

I purchased on 12/24 and got the KMF email on 1/8. 9 business days, excluding holidays.
