Hello! I am new to this forum and I have recently bought a stinger. I love this vehicle so much and plan on making it my daily driver within this year! At the moment it's my weekend vehicle.

I am looking to upgrade my exhaust system, starting from my primary downpipes to my muffler while still sticking to a catback exhaust system. I am looking to increase power and add more aggressive tones to my stinger. I've heard ark performance is good quality on these types of parts, but I am open to hearing any suggestions from others in the forum!

so you want to replace your downpipes all the way to the mufflers, AND keep a catback exhaust.
facepalm!

Sorry I'm still getting used to learning the parts on the vehicle but I plan on swapping out the secondaries with an upgraded catless down pipe then an upgraded exhaust. I plan on keeping the primary as how it is for now as I don't plan on a tune at the moment. I'm eyeing the ark secondary downpipe with an mbrp pro series exhaust combo with added exhaust tips.

Would definitely keep the primaries since you may run into over boost issues and prematurely wearing out the seals on the turbos as some have reported. If you are looking for those parts still save a few bucks by using our 10% off promo code on our site: KDMFAM

The Ark downpipes and MBRP pro are a great combo.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Not sure what year your stinger is but I have the mbrp pro active with ark downpipes on my 23 GT2. The borla active and mbrp pro active have valves and are only for 22+ stingers. The mbrp pro active has a lovely, very exotic, really loud deep raw sound that is super addicting to hear. It's far louder in person and from outside of the car than any videos might make you believe trust me. It's even louder than the borla to my ears once you add the ark downpipes. And more tame with valves closed for daily driving. It's by far my favorite setup but it does need the mbrp resonators. I will be adding it to my setup soon to clean up the sound a bit, remove loud rasp and deep in cabin drone you get in the 2-3k rpm range. Another positive I like it I get slightly bit more torque from this setup. I went back and forth a while between the borla active and mbrp pro active and eventually fell in love with the deep raw tone of the mbrp.

The mbrp pro for 18-21 stingers is not much louder than stock but has a nice deep tone to it. I had it in my stinger as the first catback but felt it was too quiet. It really needs the downpipes to sound much nicer.

Here is my car back when I had just the mbrp pro 18-21 with stock secondaries:

Here is my current setup without resonators:

Bit longer video at night:

I would not rush and do mid pipe with catback as it will be really loud and you might not like it. Just do the catback on its own first and get a feel of it for couple of weeks/months and see if you want it louder. Let your ears get used to it first. That's what I did initially. Most do not mess with the primaries as it's not worth the headaches of studs breaking and then you are in a messy situation that might require the engine to get pulled. Later on once my stinger becomes a weekend car I might explore that option with high flow primaries but not probably for long time. Good luck with what you decide to do! :)

KSR Performance, full 3in exhaust that can be customized to your liking. He hand makes them to order. Not sure there are any other 3in systems on the market.

That's a pretty cool option too that I didnt know about. Resonated option looks good. Priced well too for having the mid pipe included.

KSR is doing some really cool things for the Stinger. He is working on one Stinger that will be a single big turbo, and another that he is upgrading both turbos. Very possible that come this spring, he might have built 2 of the fastest Stingers in the world.
