Just bought a brand new 2022 Stinger. I noticed out of the left tailpipe I hear what I can only describe as birds chirping. It only happens at idle when the car has sat for 15-20 minutes and goes away when the car warms up. Has anyone else experienced this? I really don’t want to go to the dealer if I don’t have to.

Dear god man…

Page 348 in the manual talks about break in procedure.

You’re supposed to let the hamsters out of the engine bay before driving the car…

Murderer.

In all seriousness, odds are there is some exhaust rub somewhere.

Take to stealership… have them get it in the air and check clearances.

Can we hear these birds chirping?
Can you share a video?

Hi, I can confirm that my car does this sound as well "outer left tip".

I assume it is related to the electric exhaust flap not being fully closed. I'm not sure if it can be adjusted, but the sound doesn't bother me ;)

Hello,

I just bought a 2022 and had the same issue. I unplugged both sides of the active exhaust so it’s always open and there’s no more weird noise. Just more exhaust sound woohoo.

Probably one of the valves isn’t completely sealed for some reason making the noise.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Mine is also doing the same. I brought it to the dealership.. they say they aren’t sure what’s wrong, but ordered a new muffler for the car… lol
