Hi!
I'm looking forward to buying Kia Stinger 2021, I live in Europe. I noticed that in some YT videos there is "Custom" drive mode and in other cases it seems to be replaced by "Sport+". That raises question: is it possible for the Stinger from 2020/2021 to have all the drive modes (Smart, Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Custom)? Or is it always Sport+ or Custom? Is there any way to configure individual parts of the car (like suspension, gearbox, drivetrain etc.) or does Sport+ means that there is no way to customise each setting individually (basically meaning that Sport+ replaces Custom)? It seems appealing to me to put suspension in Comfort and rest in Sport if possible. Google wasn't very helpful when it comes to this topic. Thanks in advance for the replies

Hi Mr Glugi

Few days ago I got my refreshed 2020/2021 Stinger 2.0L GT line ( Australia market)
The modes are : Smart, eco, comfort, sport and individual mode.
In individual mode you can set suspension to comfort and all the rest to sport.
As for GT 3.3 Dealer stated it is exactly the same settings for drive modes.

I would suggest you visit your Kia dealer and confirm what features new model comes with.

I have the refreshed 2021 3.3L and we dont have individual mode, we just have smart, eco, comfort, sport and custom. It seems like individual mode and custom are the same thing though, no idea why they would just label it custom on all models. Only problem with custom mode is no launch control and bi module exhaust doesnt work, these 2 features only work in sport mode.

You are right , it's custom mode not individual....as well I don't think my 2.0l has lunch control ! Forgot to ask dealer about that...

All Stinger trims, everywhere, have launch control.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Really? So you can't activate the bi-modal exhaust in anything but sport mode? I always thought the bi-modal was controlled by throttle input and had nothing to do with what mode you were in.

It might just be me but when i change to sports mode i can heard the valve change.

Usually Bimodal is combinaison of both mode and throttle input but I am not sure for the Stinger.

example in sport valve is open all the time but in normal open at certain throttle threshold.
