Europe 2.0 GT Line horsepower?

Mine will be delivered next week(2.0 GT Line) and my paperwork says 188 kw - 255 hp, I heard that the European 2.0 has only 245 hp due to emissions regulations, is that true?

If this is the case isn't it kind of a fraud that the paper work says different?

I haven't heard that. But would you even be able to tell 10 HP difference? I think the 2.0L diesel has lower HP than the gasoline engine.

Romanian website says 255 hp and the uk one says 242 hp for the petrol 2.0 so I don t know what the deal is.

The diesel is actually 2.2L. I'm reading about this European spec 4 cyl engine right now...

Yea, that is what my paperwork says, 188 kw, I know there is a 180 kw version also, can t find anything on it, I wonder where it is sold
