Yes, by radio (c. 5:40 in the video), Magnussen was told to return the lead to Bergmeister: because Magnussen had slipped by on the inside of the pit lane, which was ruled as "cutting a corner". Both drivers were found complicit in the main straight crash. At the start of the next season they had to sit out the first two races.

(edit: they were under probation the first two races of the 2010 season)

Actually, most outrage seemed focused on Burgmeister afterward. Magnussen's version is that Burgmeister "parked" his Porsche and suddenly Magnussen was into him before he could react. Then he saw his opportunity and went for it. And Burgmeister tried to shut him down. Once past, Magnussen contacted the wall (that Burgmeister had crowded him into) and lost control.

Oh yeah, that’s what I meant. The Vette’s pit crew (Magnussen) kicking Burgmeister’s butt. He totally ran him into the wall. I guess he was getting revenge for Magnussen bumping him in the rear and making him loose.
