When I park my Stinger I usually put it in neutral, apply the EPB, listen for them to engage and then put it in park. Today, I did all the steps above except for putting it in park. When I turned off the engine with it in neutral and the EPB engaged, the indicators started screaming at me to put it in park. When I turned the engine back on to reapply the EPB I heard weird clicking noises under the gear shift area instead of the usual mechanisms used to apply the EPB. It was really loud. I ran more tests and noticed that the EPB mechanism wasn't as loud as it used to be. I noticed that the usual sounds are only coming from the rear wheels now. Which would explain why it's quieter than I remember.
Does anyone know if the EPB uses all tires or just the rears? I definitely don't hear anything engaging in the front wheels at all.
