Admins kindly move to appropriate section if I am posting in the wrong place. Sorry in advance

So I have a bit of an odd case and was wondering if anyone can chime in. When I remote start my car via the app (I am in Canada) and I hop in, drive is set to normal and the car picks up good meaning when I give it 10-15 percent power it stays in the low 1200-1600rpm and the torque kicks in at around 120lbs+ and gives it a good pull without having to press half way. It picks up like it's supposed to. However, when I regularly start the vehicle by just getting in and clicking the ignition button and drive is set to normal, the car feels sluggish. I give the same power 10-15 percent, the gauge indicates torque is being put down but it does not move the same way it does when I remote started the vehicle and drive off from there. No codes, no engine error. I've noticed it from the around 3k kms I am currently at about 8k. Currently only have a custom Axle back with Magnaflow mufflers and drone tubes. But issue has been present before then.

I have noticed with this, my fuel economy hasn't been great. Been getting 11.5-12.2l/100km highway travel for about 60km in normal mode, but tested in custom with everything set to sport except for AWD to comfort I get 10.1-10.3l/100km and that is with good flooring. I am at a stump as to what is happening with it. Dealers say no issues but there are issues that I can tell and the numbers for fuel economy speak otherwise. I tend to have to give more press of the pedal to get places in normal to get the car going.

Thanks in advance.

This has to be all in your head, starting the car using the engine start button or the app shouldn’t make any difference at all. The only thing I can think of is that you had the car in a different drive mode or something and mistaked that for the difference in your starting method. Be aware that the car should start in “comfort” mode but if you select “eco” mode and turn off the car it will default to that on your next start up. Eco is the only mode other than comfort it will continue to default to on startup. The difference between those modes is significant and could be what happened to you.

I had definitely thought about it being in my head. But it is not. I have set it to comfort for both and I look at the screen to see what drive mode i;m in. I know it defaults to eco if I turn off the ignition when in eco but it's not the case. I've also turned off the car from a remote start and turned it on via the ignition button and it doesn't feel the same. It's a big difference between the two when I start it. If I were to compare, it almost feels like the engine goes to eco despite it being set to comfort mode.
