Today when I was driving I was shock to see the oil temp hovering around 75deg C at the lights. Usually it stays around 90 to 100 degree C. I notice this 75 degree reading was during my end of my 40 minutes driving trip. It does rise back to 85 to 90 degree C after idling awhile. Anyone care to share their experiences? Weird to have oil temp dropping lower during a hot afternoon and more so after it did hit 90 to 95 degrees earlier in the driving trip.

I'd suspect wonky sensors. These cars are just rolling electronics bundled together. How stable can they stay? I wouldn't worry about it until the gauge shows oil temperature has risen to the "blast off" point. A reduction isn't signifying anything dangerous.

Yep agree just want to know hear from the members here! Will just monitor doubt its sensor issue.
