Electronic Valve Exhaust Setup Questions

Hey everyone, seen some threads of people posting that they have the system but wanted to get a general understanding of a few things.


Been looking into adding one lately since wanting it to be more aggressive at times, but not all the time like when i'm cruising around or going on road trips.


Called a few shops and 1 gave me a lot of details but main point of concern was location of the installation, it's a pretty tight area underneath so does anyone perhaps have photos of where they had theirs installed at?


Also they were recommended a QTP brand but seeing generic ones, assuming they're similar apart from the quality of the motor but not trying to drop 1000's into this project but do want a shop to professionally install them.
What brand do you guys recommend or did you use that seemed simple enough?


And in case it matters, it's the 2.0 gt-line model, different exhaust but should be similar I hope

Oh, you mean adding aftermarket cutouts, not the stock replacement exhaust systems that have valves built into the mufflers.
Any cutout will fail sooner or later, just depends. The oval ones fit in tighter areas than the round ones. It's not *that* tight.
Once upon a time I was planning to use QTP cutouts on my other car. The Hooker/Holley Attitude system looks like it's pretty well designed. You mainly want something that keeps the motor as far away as possible from the valve.
