Electric vehicle ultra-rapid chargers

I saw this last night for the first time, and at my local shopping centre, don't know how long it's been there, it's called ChargeFox , Electric vehicle ultra-rapid chargers, last night and also today when I was driving past to go home, the same Tesla 3 maybe it was, was charging there, didn't expect to see a charging station at my local shopping centre so soon.

Seems strange that we have a roof over petrol pumps to stop us getting wet in the rain but it’s apparently ok to stand in a puddle of water when transferring electricity into our cars?

That is weird. The Walgreens where I got my 2020 Stinger calendars printed has a single charge station. And it's exposed to the elements too. Hmm!?

Porsche’s battery system runs on a much higher voltage than other systems and they claim it charges much faster than others also. Even Tesla’s supercharger. Give it another 5 years. We could set battery chargers that charge fully in about 20-30 minutes.
