What is the approximate life span of Eibach sway bar bushings? I noticed my car is a little more "tail happy" in corners than it used to be. The bushings probably have about 30K miles on them. I need to get my winter tires installed soon, is it time to put new bushings on?

The idea of worn out sway bar bushings never entered my head. There is so little movement that I think they last longer than the car.

Have you been greasing them?

Yep, regularly greased or not makes a good bit of difference. Mine are not Eibach, but based on what others have posted, Eibach bushings appear to be the greaseable type (with grease nipples and retention grooves). Properly maintained, there is no reason they wouldn't last many years without needing replacement.

That said, it also depends somewhat on how rough the roads you routinely drive on are, and how much your undercarriage gets inundated with rain, snow slush, and slop.

Lastly, worn out anti-roll bar bushings won't necessarily make you car more prone to oversteer, which I assume is what you meant by "tail happy".

My front ones are shot. I've had a clunk/rattle for quite sometime, and discovered they were the culprit when replacing my struts this weekend. Roughly 80,000 miles when they started to get some play in them.

Factory ones seem as if the rubber is moulded to the swaybar, my aftermarket ones just slide on and spin around with some rubber grease.
