Eibach's install instructions call for disconnecting the power steering electric harness, but I don't see where it would interfere at all when dropping the front sway bar. I have G70 AWD, but they're pretty much identical. I wonder if this a RWD vs AWD difference where one needs the harness disconnected and other doesn't?

May be different for the G70. I know in my Stinger GT AWD i had to disconnect the plug to remove the factory bar.

Thanks gents. I pulled it without disconnecting the harness. The instructions are just wrong.

it's probably for safety's sake, so you don't sever the harness while you're pulling the swaybar. I didn't find it necessary to disconnect.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
The way the wiring was routed on my car, disconnecting the harness would have been easier but it wasn't necessary. It was very tight feeding the bar through though.

This must be one of the differences between the Stinger and G70, my harness wasn't in the way at all.
