ECU box’s?

Inseide the 3.3 there’s two box’s that I assume are the Stingers ECU’s, both on the US Drivers side, one right next to the engine, the other in its own compartment on the side, what the function of both those exactly.

Was also wondering why ones in the engine bay getting hot while the other has its own house.

The one in the corner is main relay and the other is ECM.

The relay box, as in the black plastic box you can take the lid off and see the fuses/relays?
if so, I don’t mean that one, I’m talking about the 2 internal HDD looking boxes, a larger one in the corner and a smaller one inside the engine bay at the same level as the turbo.

There are multiple additional control units inside the engine bay, including those for the transmission and - at least in the USA - emissions.

Look it up on a parts site.

Top is a multi pin connector and the other is an ECM.
