Call me ancient old fart but when I got the GT1, I thought that that the seat and wheel moving was pretty cool. After setting the memory seat it appears that seat no longer moves back when ignition shut off . Under the Convenience setting in the driver display, I've cycled through the three selections but seat position doesn't change. Does seat memory override that? Steering wheel does pivot up.

My GT Limited has a setting that allows you a couple distances the seat will move back on shut down. I think it is somewhere in the Drivers Convenience settings. Maybe there is a don't move the seat setting that accidentally got engaged.

Mine doesn’t move back even though I have it set to. I fiddled around with it, and when the seat is closer to the dash/wheel it will move back. However where I am positioned it does not. Maybe when you have it set a certain distance back it doesn’t move even though it is set to.

Interesting! If I'm sitting in the car engine running and move my seat back for some reason then if I end up turning the car off the seat still moves even further back.

I did a seat reset and it fixed my issue!

From the manual (page 3-13
"Easy access function (if equipped) When exiting the vehicle, the steering wheel will move away from the driver and the seat will move rearward when the engine is turned off. When entering the vehicle, the steering wheel will move toward the driver and the seat will move forward when the Engine Start/Stop Button is pressed to the ACC position or START position. You can activate or deactivate this feature. Refer to “User settings” in chapter 4. Driver position memory system reset If the Driver position memory system reset fails to work, initialize the system as follows. How to initialize: 1. Stop the car and open the driver’s door with the Engine start/stop button in ON and the automatic shift lever in P (parking) position. 2. Pull the driver’s seat forward as far as possible and have the seatback upright as much as possible using driver’s seat forward adjustment and seatback angle (recline) movement switches. 3. Push SET button and seat forward movement switch button for 2 seconds simultaneously. CAUTION • If alarm sound and driver seat adjustment stop while initialization is in process, re-start initialization. • Make sure that there are no obstacles around the driver seat before proceeding with initialization. • Once initialization is completed, adjust seats conforming to your ideal driving position and save the customized seat settings."

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Mine was working fine for the most part, but intermittently not moving back when I enter the car. After I had my transmission replaced, the problem would reproduce itself every morning. My car has been in getting the sunroof creaking fixed for over a week and the mechanic told me today they were finally able to reproduce the problem and are ordering something in to replace it. ATM I am unsure of what exactly that is, but it would be nice to get my car back with two problems rectified (I am cautiously optimistic but will not celebrate until after I get her back).

I tried this and it didn't seem to work, when it says to have the seatback upright, does it mean upright as in as far forward as possible, or as close to vertical as possible?

Guessing the reason my 2.0 seat doesn’t move back is I already have it as far back (and a little up) as possible. Steering wheel always moves out of the way.
