Hey all,
Have a 2023 GT2. Couple weeks ago it was a pretty cold morning so I used the remote start feature via the Kia app. When I jumped in the car to head to work I noticed the check engine light was on. App stated the code was P05CC00. Took it to the dealer ship and they weren't exactly sure what the problem was. The engine light actually turned off while they had the car. They eventually decided the problem was caused by the oil control valve on bank 1 (I don't know anything about cars so no idea what that means) They ordered a new valve and just put it in today but I am a little skeptical just based on the crappy service I was receiving at this dealership.
I have searched the web and a few others have mentioned the same thing happening on remote starts during cold weather. Just want to know if any of you have had the same problem?
Thanks.
