Is anyone aware of a source for more technically detailed information about what differs between the Stinger driving modes? The manual and various YouTube videos are pretty vague, with little detail beyond the obvious. I am interested in getting a better understanding of what actually changes, particular with regard to the options available for setting up the Custom drive mode. For example, I can set the All Wheel Drive function to Eco, Comfort, or Sport setting, but I don’t actually know what difference each makes in how the AWD system operates.

Thanks! Learning that the Eco and Comfort AWD behaviour is the same was particularly helpful.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I don't understand. how is having a choice that is the same either way helpful?

my suspicion all these years is that providing an apparent choice makes more drivers happy than if the visual options show less. is this deceitful?

most of what is advertised and presented is deceitful and nothing more than placebo.

Note that I was specifically asking about AWD behaviour, and it was helpful to learn that there is no difference between Eco and Comfort in this respect because it means that I don’t need to take AWD into account when deciding which driving mode to use. I have driven other cars in which the eco efficiency mode also functions as an all-weather option, applying a more equal distribution of AWD rather than either rear or front biased.

There are definite differences between the Stinger’s Eco and Comfort modes in throttle responsiveness and transmission, which you can feel when switiching between these modes. Does that translate into actually significant differences in fuel economy? I’ve not spent enough time driving in Eco mode to find out. I mean, if I wanted to increase fuel economy, I wouldn’t have bought a car with a V6 engine.
