Do I need the EWG wires for the UP HFC

hey, not sure if this is the right place to post, so I apologize in advance if it isnt

I have a jb4 with the fuel wires. I just ordered the Ultimate performance HFc downpipe and midpipe, but I'm seeing people say they still have issues without the EWG wires.

Is this a common thing/do I need the EWG attachment, or are the fuel wires enough? I'm not super car savvy, so any help is appreciated

You will need EWG wires to settle the boost for sure. Make sure to grab o2 sensor defoulers. Our car’s cat codes will forcefully kick you back to comfort mode no matter what. It’s extremely annoying.

I ordered off k8.. It says it comes with o2 sensor defoulers

Hard to know without seeing a log after parts are installed. But a good idea to grab them.

Yeah I ended up buying them. They come today (before my downpipes have even shipped). I was actually going to send you emails of some logs when everything is installed. I'm very new to this so I don't even know what to look for
