3.3TT Disks Out of Round

I Previously posted about getting plusing sensation through the steering wheel when applying brakes. Took my car in for 7500 mi warranty check and ask for a run out on the front disks. They found them to be out of round; left - 0.005, right - 0.007. Corrective action was to resurface. So the symptom was addressed, but not the cause. I suspect that this may be a re-occurring event. Overall - still loving this car.

They were out of round direct from the factory. So the cause has been addressed. This is the kind of fubar that could get past an individual vehicle inspection at the end of assembly, obviously. I expect that there won't be a recurring out of round disc problem. Ignorance is bliss! Motorheads on here might have genuine knowledge to correct my optimism. But, of course, I hope not!

I'm thinking the best move is going to be to replace the oem rotors with something aftermarket. I wonder if Racingbrake is working on some OEM replacements, their rotors are bulletproof against this stuff.
