Hi friends, so obviously the LSD from the 3.3 has a different gear ratio due to differing ring gears, however it may be possible to swap the LSD core. I'm needing some measurements from anyone who has torn apart their differentials.. Obviously I havent torn mine apart, this is an ask for a future project.
Here's what I need:
2.0:
  • Bolt pattern on the ring gear.
  • width of the open differential core
  • UK spec: width of the LSD core
  • UK spec: bolt pattern of the ring gear
3.3:
  • Bolt pattern of the ring gear
  • width of the open differential core (2018 GT, GT1, or AWD models)
  • width of the LSD core (2018 GT2 or 2020 GT* RWD)
any other resources you have would be greatly appreciated, I am trying to keep this to a budget under $1000 and maintain the stock final drive ratio so an aftermarket diff is out of the question. The hope is the LSD core will fit perfectly into the 2.0 open diff core spot and bolt on, however if I can source from a junker an LSD and modify my ring gear at a machine shop, it is an option as-well.

ALSO INTERESTED IN A DIFF SWAP to any 2.0 owners in the UK with stock LSD I will pay shipping for both of us and compensate you.

Thanks
-Joe
