Differential Fluid Change 2.5t AWD

Has anyone changed the differential fluid on the 2.5t AWD? Is the location and setup same.as.the 3.3's ?? Specifically, the front. The rear looks pretty easy/straight forward. Based on what I've seen on the 3.3 AWD, the front fill hole is the challenge (space).

While at the dealer checking out a blown front cv axle bearing, they had to drop the steering rack to check fluid level. Maybe this was done for ease of access, but it is apparently tight to get at.

Anyone used a different fluid other than the Amsoil 75w-90 synthetic? Valvoline or SuperTech 75w-90 synthetic? Yes, you read that right.... I love the SuperTech fluids.... I've been using their synthetic motor oils for the last 15years on all my vehicles.

On my previous vehicles, I've always used Mobil 1 and Valvoline synthetic gear oils. Never had any issues. The 2.5T has open diff, so any of these would work just fine.

Did you replace the differential fluids on your 2.5t? I have the 2.5t AWD....looking at the owner's manual, for the 2.5t, it states to replace the rear around 40k and at 80k miles but the front only has to inspect at 40k and 80k miles?

Correction: the above is for LSD. Since I have 2.5t AWD, I believe it does not come equipped with LSD.

Is that under the Severe Driving Conditions section? It's best to follow that.

My '23 2.5T is RWD and I replaced the open diff with an LSD from a G70 about 6months ago. The LSD was last filled with Amsoil 75w-90. So my case is not a good go-by.

Since I have 2.5t with AWD, I assume my Stinger does not have LSD. If I am correct, the differential fluid for 2.5t AWD is stated by Kia to be replaced (front and rear) every 72k miles for severe condition. Normal conditions, just to inspect at 72k miles.

Realistically, if I'm gonna go through the trouble of jacking up the car and removing the fill plug to "inspect" the gear oil, I'd just as soon pop the drain plug to replace the gear oil. It's not that expensive.
