Tried a clear coat after and they went cloudy. Started again.

did you sand them before applying primer coat . ?? ............the key to proper paint adhesion on parts is preparation , fine sanding , cleaning , prime x3 coats and color 3xcoats , then clear x 4 coats

Did all that but I think the weather got me on a certain day.

How was the fit?
I’ve seen one front and rear set installed and the slats were not holding.
Is that the case with yours Des?

High gloss is the only way to go with these, otherwise the contrast with the black accents (especially around the brake scoop) looks out of place.

Is that what the matte black is, just primer coat?

Painted mine Gloss black and installed about a month ago. I have not had any issues.

In my opinion they look great and fit great.

Fast forward to 7:04 That is where the install is made.

The hands down winner of that contest is that horribly "accessorized" Stinger in S. Korea, linked to a few months back. I hadn't thought of it in all the months since. Thanks a lot!

I mean it all depends, looks are subjective. What you might consider ugly someone else might consider good looking and vise versa.

I personally like the mod. I painted mine gloss black.

Maybe you should start the thread?

I just ordered a Tauro claw from Amazon. Someone generously gave me a gift certificate for doing a podcast. I see the Tauro claw gets mixed to negative reviews here. Also, ordered a tint kit for the rear lights and a weather tech cup holder for my iphone.

I have now entirely rebadged my baby and have weather tech floor mats.

If I don't like these accessories, I will return them.

I was walking my dog the other night without a phone to take pictures, so not able to verify what I saw. But, I ask for a little trust. I saw a murdered out Stinger -- all of the badges were black, dark black tint, dark wheels and hub caps. the Stinger and GT emblem on the rear were also black. I thought the car looked amazing. I was lusting.

I’ve got a set coming from Sal at Kiastinger.com and from what I’ve seen his product looks tops with good design and excellent positioning for both the front and the rear.
Will post up a review ASAP but anything coming out of the USA is taking forever.

I much prefer to purchase from Sal! I have in the past. It was just that I received an Amazon gift certificate and was doing various searches.
