Where?

When the door is closed. Is it pushing on the seat belt buckle or anything? If not, maybe the dealer can order a part to fix/replace the panel.

It’s only on RH front door

Same as mine, thanks for looking. I was worried the dealer maybe have done it while working on my car. Must just be a manufacturing thing. If I put a light on the driver side door in same area it bumps out just a bit. Can’t be seen with out a light right on it.

Looks like someone used an elbow to push the door open?

I thought that too at first but the only people that have been in the passenger seat is my wife and me. Car only has 1000km. I also tried opening the driver door with my elbow and it did not make a mark....even pushed with my finger and nothing.

Exact same spot. I think it is caused by repeated elbowing open of the door. I am not a passenger in my car, my wife is. She would trigger the door latch and then arm the door open. Her arm is shorter than mine, but the outside of my elbow lines up perfectly with that dent when pushing the door open. Then again, the exact match with the OP's picture makes me suspect some kind of a manufacturing explanation. Either way, we are going to have dents there.

Thanks for looking, my bet is on manufacturing as it’s only one the right hand drivers door. If my dent was caused by my wife then the drivers door would show the same dent as she drives the car as well. One way to really know would be to measure where the dent is then compare with other cars.

Well, as I observed, my dent looks exactly like your dent, size and location.

Ok its right front door only, maybe there is more glue underneath that is done that door only and thats why there is a dent. I had a feel around the area concerned and it could be the case. Upholsterers know how to get rid it so take it to one. A new door card is not cheap.

Mine are lumpy as well. All of the door panels have some sort of imperfection. I think it's common on well-padded panels like the Stinger's. Most cars don't have panels with this much padding beneath it. My last car actually had even more substantially padded door panels, but they were fabric covered, and it was also a bit lumpy underneath. It doesn't catch light, so it's not noticeable by sight.

I'm fine with it. At least it gives the door a much higher apparent quality and luxury than a thinly padded but uniform panel.

Does yours have the single dent in the passenger front seat like the pictures? That’s the only one that can catch the light and I can see when I look over.

I need to check mine. I don't think I have that issue. If i do, It so small dont really care. Now outside of the car i would be very angry.

Light has to hit the right way. Cell phone light shows it well. I’m more wondering if it’s just a factory default or not. If it is I’ll just let it go myself.
