Anyone else experience the different intervals between kia and the dealership? Kia is every 6k (6, 12, 18, 24, etc.), but the dealership does 5, 10, 15, 20, etc. Which one do you follow? I am coming up on 24k and looking at scheduling an appt. Also, will/should they fix the squeaky hatch/sunroof if requested?

I'd say the only one that matters is the kia intervals as printed in the owner's manual.

Re sunroof, I'd say if it can be easily replicated (the noise) then I'd expect it to be covered under warranty. Ask them.

Dealer will try to make money any way they can.
When I bought my GMC truck, it came with free oil service for the first two years. It was based on the interval in the manual and the dealer would only do it for free if it was on those intervals. However, if you came in after the free period and had to pay for it, their "recommended" interval was less.
