Dealer Transfers and Finding the Right Spec

Hi guys I’m new to this forum and I am very close to getting my new Stinger GT1 I even nailed the perfect deal! But I want a Black GT1 with red seats and literally no dealer has one near me and the dealer I’m working with is having a lot of trouble trying to get one for me because the dealers that are a couple miles away refuse to trade their black on red stinger for another car. Has anyone else had any issues obtaining their perfect spec car? I know you can’t build these cars and get them shipped over so all dealers can do is trade amongst each other. I would appreciate any help or insight on the topic thank you.

Where are you located? We have 2 black on red GT1s. A lot of dealers are being stingy with Stingers on the dealer trades so it can be hard to get exactly what you want from your local dealer right now. That should change in a few months hopefully.

I’m in the Raleigh area in North Carolina I’m working with the Fred Anderson Kia dealer in Raleigh I’m a youtuber and they realize that and the value I can bring so they’re working hard to try and get me the car I want at a good deal at least to me

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. A lot of people have had issues getting the exact Stinger they want - so you're not alone. Patience seems to be the name of the game. I'm not very good at it.

Yes that certainly seems to be the case, I certainly don’t need the car quickly or anything but patience is a virtue that I lack as well haha, we shall see the dealer does keep me updated so I will let everyone know how long it really takes I may even make video addressing this thanks guys

Got the car, ended up being a GT2 Black with the red seats so pumped to get this car literally only has 11 miles on it wow!

Congratulations! Have you posted any pictures yet? What did your Stinger replace?

I have not yet posted on photos on this forum but this car is now replacing my slightly modified 2010 Acura TSX 2.4l 4 cylinder with a 5 speed auto. Truly did love that car but I like the stinger a lot more haha, so many features on this car so much to learn haha can’t ask for much more than this out of a car! Absolutely love it!

Thanks so much! So yes they offered to put them on there and I said absolutely a red stripe I knew would look great on a black car with red calipers and red seats so I’m super happy with it and I agree it does look different and it’s already a beautiful car as it is! Can’t wait to film more content with it!

Good call. I don't think all colors can get away with it...
