Anyone notice the Stinger having a rather non-optimal position of the dead padel aka. foot rest?

My left foot kept sliding off the pedal. It seems like the dead pedal is not positioned all the way to the left and parallel to the door panel, so when resting my left knee against the door panel the left foot has a weird angle to the pedal.

Anyone else finds this to be a bit of an issue? or it's just me?

It's certainly not a big deal for me, just something I noticed and wondering if it's just me or someone else also notice this.

I'm not sure I'm understanding about your foot slipping off. But I do know that part of positioning my seat (which I'm still fiddling with) included getting a flat, firm plant on the dead pedal. Extending the underthigh bolster helped some, if you have that adjustment.

Oh, I completely forgot I posted this earlier.

I apologize, I may have not explained it properly in the original post (still don't know how to explain this properly). I think saying my left foot keeps slipping off the dead pedal may be an overstatement. It sounds more severe than it actually is.

Basically, when I rest my left knee against the door (which is a comfortable position for me), I don't get a firm and flat position for my foot on the dead pedal. Maybe this is just me.

My detailer has my car at the moment. But I think I know what you mean. The dead pedal is tucked hard against the footwell panel. If you're resting your knee on the door, your shin may have an odd angle to get to the dead pedal. I used to rest my knee there a lot but don't do it anymore. I used to spend a LOT of time behind the wheel of a car and my knees got weirdly achey at times. I've adjusted how I sit just a bit to keep things direct.

And, FWIW, I'm still fiddling with my seating position. LOL

I was driving my roommate's IS-350 this weekend, and I noticed I can't even reach the dead pedal with a flat foot (toes only) when I've got the seat adjusted back for my preferred throttle/brake pedal distance. I found that very odd, since the dead pedal should theoretically be at the same distance as a depressed clutch pedal. Didn't think much of it until I read this thread, so maybe I'll look under the dash when the car is back from work. Hopefully the Stinger isn't like that too.
