Is there any other obd2 datalogger that is similar to the JB4? I'm looking at one to use with my Lap3 Protuner when it comes in.

Just sell the lap3 and get a JB4, it does everything the lap3 does but better. :)

I already have the JB4 Terry, I just wanted to test out this new LAP3 V2 Protuner and see how it compares. Worst case if I dont like it, I'll take a little loss if I want to sell it. Could I log with JB4 while running with the Lap3 Protuner?

Doesn't LAP3 have an app for that? I thought I read that somewhere...

BTW, what changes did they make with V2?

Yes they do from what I've been told, but it might be difficult to setup. Not sure, but I will see once I get it next week. I love the JB4 logging capabilities. They said biggest change is meth Integration. I'll let you guys know how it fares with JB4 once I get it. Its dam expensive, so well see if its worth it.

I wanted the Tork tune also, and was gonna use JB4 to supplement it, but the idea of getting a spare ecu and sending my ecu out there and having to wait and be without the stinger gave me that hesitation. If I'm not feeling Lap3, I might still go through with the Tork Tune.

Why would you buy a spare ECU, just to reduce downtime?

The JB4 already has superior WMI and E85 integration to Lap3-pro V2 not to mention better logging tools and it's 1/2 the price. :)

The spare ECU is what I was planning to use to flash on, I would swap it out for dealer visits. I agree that JB4 has the better features and better support system, but I got to see where it's at performance wise. I am not using WMI.

I might be the only guy that will try all the major tunes lol :)

I've just ordered the Flex fuel kit with ability to integrate with JB4 :). So the white wire goes into pin 15?

Wasting your time and money. When you run a flash map true torque/load is stored beyond just the ECU and also on the trans computer, ABS/stability control computer, and several others. All easily detected if they bother to look (e.g. if you try to make some sort of big claim).

It can go in 16 but I suggest pin 4 instead, so you have 16/3 open for WMI if you ever want to add it.

I'll definitely keep that in mind.

Awesome, I've just ordered your Oil Catch Can also, I like the no maintenance concept and how simple it is to install. Is your WMI kit universal? Would I be able to use this with Lap3 Protuner or JB4? I dont know anything about WMI but it does seem interesting.

Our OCC setup is awesome.

On our meth kit the PNP nozzle adapter, tank, mounting plate, etc, are all universal and can work with any tuning. The FSB requires the JB4 to control it. It's a highly integrated setup where meth only flows on specific meth maps, boost is held low until meth is properly flowing to avoid tip in knock, if flow drops then boost is dropped proportionally to keep things safe, bank to bank fuel trims are monitored to ensure equal WMI distribution in the manifold, etc. If not using a JB4 then don't get the FSB and you'd have to run a "spray and pray" sort of universal controller.
