I'm going to stick this here cause i'm not sure where else to put it.

Looking at the giant black box behind the rearview mirror, i'm at a loss for where to put a dashcam in this car. Anyone have any suggestions on location and which model to get?

Let the Discussion commence.

I've used the Yi action cam as a makeshift dash cam, and it's been working well. They have an actual dash cam now, thinking of getting that one.

Cheap, compact, but does all the basics well. The only critical feature i think it's missing is a rear cam recording. But it's so cheap i could just buy two of them...

I have a Thinkware F800 Pro and I like being able to download videos straight from the camera without having to remove the memory card.

Mine sits behind the rear view mirror and I can’t even see it when driving.

I just need to figure out how to route the cable for the rear camera.

Any other input from more people?? I remember reading about some problems with the lane keeping feature caused by a dash cam. I really want to get one, but don't know what is good, and especially where to put it. Thanks

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I use BlackVue, no issue at all, nice & compact mounted under the big black box & centre of car.

The best semi-budget single cam solution is the Viofo A119 v2.

I would recommend the Blackvue DR650S-2CH for front and rear. The newer 750 doesn't deliver much for the price.
