Got a good deal here buying experience from start to end was great. We visited one other Kia dealership (Courtesy Kia) and we were rushed through the test drive and the manager ended the negotiation and gave me the key to my trade back after my wife through out a lowball offer.

At Dan O'Brien we got a good 10-15 minute test drive. Of course our initial offer was thousands below what we wanted to pay. Didn't phase them they continued to negotiate. The final deal we got at Dan O'Brien was thousands less than the offers I was getting at other dealerships. I had been emailing around so I had a good sense of how low we could go. There was one other dealer Quirk in NH that was in the ballpark but that would have meant going out of state.

Lucky you I had a terrible experience there last week. I bought a stinger used there and they sold me it without a title and I was left without a car for 1.5 weeks

That's too bad at the end of the day all dealers suck. You need to do your homework and know what is supposed to happen and what documents are supposed to change hands. If I walked in without doing research I'm sure I would have gotten ripped off. When bundling trade their first offer to me was 36K and I ended up getting them down to 31.5. I would never buy visiting one dealer. I had gone to carmax to get an idea of what my trade was really worth.

Anyway I'm not saying they are saints just that I was able to get a deal. If you look at their inventory they have more stingers (and probably cars in general) than any other Kia dealer. If they have lots of stock to me that says they want/need to move vehicles off the lot and will be willing to deal.

Dan O'Brien Norwood was a joke. I drove an hour and a half to test drive a Stinger GT there. I confirmed the appointment and they confirmed that they would have one available to test. Got there and they had NONE on the lot. Drove to their Concord NH location and they had a large inventory. Employees in Norwood were also very rude. They gave me the "what do I care" look when I told them that they were supposed to have a car for me to test drive. Also the car that I really was looking to buy from them that was "coming soon" was already sold to an NFL player they advertise with. So, no car to test drive, no car to buy and crappy communication between them and internet sales office.

Called them today asking for leasing info and the guy named Eddy was extremely rude. Called them the day before and the lady that helped me with some of the questions I had was very nice. Some sales folks just aren't trained properly.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I know dealers screen prospective buyers. I'm guessing they thought you weren't serious because I drive by there every day and see 5 to 10 stingers in plain sight. They even had an orange one that last time I went by.

I remember my brother was looking at mustangs He dresses like a homeless person but has enough cash in the bank to by 10 mustangs. Muzi Ford in Needham wouldn't give him the time of day. No test drive zero interest in talking to him. Bad move he had the money and not a good negotiator. They lost an easy sale and an excellent profit.

Anyway I don't think this is a perfect dealer. When I got to the point of negotiating I was able to get a good deal. The salesman was Vinny. There is a guy who does the negotiating. I think his name was Kevin. They both are still there. I get free oil changes for a year so I was there about a month ago.

I definitely know you can get a different experience at the same dealer. I bought a car at Herb Chambers Infiniti in Boston had a great internet sales experience circa 2000 then in 2006 horrible. I wanted a diamond graphite G35 coupe and was interested in hearing about a lease. The lease deal was a rip off and the car I was shown was black with not the options I wanted. First the salesman was high pressure and then calling me all the time. He was leaving messages about someone else is going to buy my car. Huge emphasis on it being "your car". I'm like you mean the one in the wrong color and the wrong options that I'm not interested in at all? It was somewhat comical.

A good play is to always go by yourself first pass and then say I can't buy a car without my wife seeing it so just give me your best offer and I'll have to come back. It kind of takes the steam out of why can't we make a deal now baloney.
