I've received this adverticement.....
"Release your exhaust system obtaining better flow of engine gases allowing more force in high revolutions and generating a more aggressive noise in your vehicle with the ease of just pressing a button!"...US $270.00 aprox...3" diameter

I would like to read your opinions...Thanks in advance

I came pretty close to buying an electronic cutout w/Bluetooth for the car. Before I pulled the trigger I took a look under there and realized there is no suitable place to mount it.

If you can think of a good location to install them it'll be the best of many world's (straight pipes, stock exhaust, price combination).

Also, before you buy make sure you research it and read the reviews. Some of the cheaper ones have really bad exhaust leaks that drive people crazy.

Good luck.

Assuming you can find a place to install it, it's going to require some serious work to re-plumb the existing exhaust - especially to re-use the existing exhaust tips for both 'modes' instead of just dumping the straight pipe under the car. And you're not addressing some of the stock issues such as the badly crimped pipes.

I can see using something like this if you were building a custom hot rod, or even a Stinger exhaust solution from scratch - in which case I'd sure be checking to make sure it was a quality piece of equipment before going to all that work.

Trying to integrate a bypass somehow into the stock system on the Stinger I don't see as a viable for a one-off build. There are a number of exhaust system options out there to choose from, that already put in the work and the R&D expense.

Thank you Kamauxx and SteveCo for your priceless point of view about this device.

I will wait for a cat back valvetronic exhaust. In the meantime I will save some dollars.....

i remember those. but they weren't electric. you had to crawl under the car, remove the wingnuts and then race. then crawl under the car, hope you don't burn your hands trying to reinstall the plates, hope the gasket was straight, otherwise you had a cloud of exhaust coming up under the floor boards. and, if you didn't tighten them correctly, sometimes they would blow off.
and i am in total agreement, full system, not added on.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
