Current Audio in Instrument Cluster ? (GT2)

Hi just wondering how I get the current Audio ... Say Song Name and such to show up in the Instrument Cluster. Seems like I should be able to do this but cant seem to find it ...

Want to Have Speed and Nav Stuff up top on the HUD
Current Song in instrument cluster
More Detailed Nav or CarPlay on Nav Screen

Unfortunately not possible. "Now Playing" is only available on the infotainment screen, either in the Media section or on the home screen.

I was interested in this question as I am sure I had seen someones cluster showing the song name, although I don't think I can do it on mine.

Ok so I got Android Auto Spotify album art to show up in the Home screen, on the right hand side section (similar to the image below), but it was short lived on track change it just went back to the generic ♫ music symbol. Anybody know different ... ?

For me when ever the source changes it will briefly display whatever is changing too on the cluster display. So for example everytime the track changes in pandora it briefly pops up and says android auto and the track name like in the pic in the linked thread. Also if in radio mode pressing up/DN on steering control it will display each station briefly as it switches.

What I can't figure out which really doesn't make sense and bothers me is what the OP is asking how to display this info on demand (or permanently) without changing the source. I cant believe there isn't an "info" button or something or even a setting choice to have this info displayed at all time.

I agree I wish this was an option as well. The funny thing is other Hyundai/Kia models have had this feature. The Genesis G80 had it from 2015-2017 but in 2018 it was removed. Maybe there were bugs with it or something.

Some google research...this looks like it is a spotify thing not a kia thing. Some links discussing this...

Might test google play music next. I can live without it but it'd be cool to have the spotify album art show on our home screen.

Is there a list of driver display windows available from the menu button on the steering wheel? My wife's Kia Sedona has a window that shows the current music track and artist. The other screens are (from memory) driver options, Trip 1, Trip 2, MPH and Average MPG. It's in one of those. My 2012 Optima doesn't have a digital cluster.
