First time to this forum. Just finished a cross country trip from Summerland BC to Cornerbrook Newfoundland. From Newfoundland back down through the central states and back to British Columbia. My 2019 GT limited (ghost grey) preformed flawlessly. Can't wait for the next trip.

Howdy. :) How many miles was that "loop"? (or Km if you prefer)

My GT2 is extraordinarily comfortable for distance driving. Making another road trip next week for a driving weekend. Very much looking forward to it. Glad you find the same!

Put on over 12k km on the trip
Man! That is some "cross-country trip" alright; nearly 7,500 miles! What did you do for maintenance? Or did you just put it off until you came home? How long were you on this trip? If it were me, I'd be making it take a few weeks at least.

I did my regular services at the dealerships on route. It turned out the car was a pretty big hit in the dealership in Cornerbrook NFLD. It was the first ghost grey they had seen and they seemed to like how I re badged the car. I had six weeks to do the trip but we ended up finishing it in just over 4 weeks.

I just took my first long trip. I visited my sister in Nevada MO. It was about 850 miles round trip. The computer said I averaged 28.3 miles to the gallon. I also checked the mileage the old fashion way, miles driven divided by gallons used. I got 27 mpg using the old fashion way. The other factors were that the air was used for 90% of the time and I was driving 5 over the posted speed limit of 70 when possible.

Last year I did a 5,800 mile loop in my Kia Soul. It was okay, but only one step up from doing it in a go-cart. This year I'm doing a smaller loop of about 4,000 miles starting later this week. Really looking forward to doing it in my Stinger instead. Dawg will get lots of windshield time.

Hah, we will be traveling at the same time, but not, of course, together. :D Roughly two thousand miles out to Atlanta and then back, so c. the same length trip. I leave on the 19th Instant.
