Okay I just posted a topic about the Stinger's name. Now let's talk about the design.

What would you change? I see some people say there are too many vents. Not here, of course. We all love the Stinger. But some people say it's 'too busy'. What do you think?

If there was one thing you could change what would it be?

The forward running tail light stripes are longer than I like. Like pretty much every car being made these days, I think the hood could be a bit lower both for form and function. I wish the infotainment screen was retractable and had less bezel. And if there is one part of the design that actually drives me a bit crazy, it's the decision to mix plain square'ish vents at the ends of the dashboard with the circular ones in the middle. Why they didn't go with all five being circular is something I cannot comprehend.

Yes, too many vents and they are superfluous. Especially the hood vents which have no function and make the car look too busy and boy-racerish.

Hard for me to be critical because I like the whole damn thing. But those things mentioned could be more functional; wrap tail lights, hood vents and screen design.

Well, being the owner of Subaru SVX 3.3H6 VTD, which has 36:64 front-rear torque split and that I consider perfect GT car means I have some expectations.
I am just a little afraid that the Kia might be too high, although specifications say about 51.2" SVX and 55.1" Stinger. Yes, it's not a lot, but an increase in the aero drag and raised center of gravity nonetheless.
I worry about seating position, as having legs horizontally makes me feel car and in car better. So I hope the seats aren't raised as is the trend in car market nowadays.
Making it 4-seater and not 2+2 design results in roofline extended to the rear, instead of smooth descend to the trunk.

And oh God, that rear doors window split is so damn ugly.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I am pretty sure I am the odd duck here. I can't recall the appearance of a car being one of the top factors for any of my vehicle purchases.

I only care about how much it costs vs. its amenities & performance. If it kills it as far as "bang for the buck" goes then it not being "ugly" is just icing on the cake.

i think the side vents would be better if they were color matched or just gone. it looks too much like a Jaguar. the rear doors look odd. maybe if they extended the window more to the gap between the door and quarter panel it would look better. fog lights would be cool. i do kinda like the wrap around tail lights though. i dont really see anything like it on other cars. it makes it more distinct imo.

i do agree with the previously mentioned "gripes" about the screen less bezel or more screen would be nice. and it would be cool if it sunk down into the dash if the driver wanted it to. especially since it seems many manufacturers are doing away with it more and more these days. the vents dont bother me too much but a more uniform approach would be nice. oh and it would be cool if it had a nob to control the infotainment system like the g80 so we arent forced to reach out and touch the screen

I would like hood vents to an option, since the same to only be offered on the 3.0 engine spec'ed cars. I echo the sentiments regarding the nav screen. I think the nav system would be even better if there was another input method like BMW and Audi use (a dial to pick letters, or a surface that recognizes texts).
