Has anyone used the crc gdi cleaner on their 3.3t stinger? I'm not sure if our cars have maf or map sensors but the gdi cleaner needed to be sprayed past the maf sensor. Not a concern if we only have a map sensor. Also where is the best place to spray this? I have k&n intake installed. I wanted to use this as part of 10k or 15k maintenance to keep the valves clean.

I have not used any, but I have done some thinking about how to get in there and wonder - wouldn't the EGR system be perfect?

Not familiar with the CRC product. Here's a post where I linked to a generic Seafoam video showing how they inject upstream. I've used Seafoam before, it's been around for a long, long time and has a good reputation.

Fuel System Cleaner

Next time I'm at the dealer (to pick up an oil filter) I'll ask about what intake/valve cleaner they use for their GDI engines, and what procedure they use.

I used the CRC INTAKE VALVE & TURBO CLEANER on my old S4 when I got around 70k miles. Smoothed out the idle a bit and improved mpg's some. Did it every 10k after that (only 3 more times:)) and never had any problems. I just popped off my intake and sprayed it directly into the throttle body.

There are a bunch of videos on YouTube of independent users trying it out. Most have a good amount of success with it. If you're concerned about carbon buildup, I highly recommend looking into this.

I've used it on my lf sonata and sprayed it on the intake side without any issues since that car doesnt have maf sensor. I'm not sure if our stinger does because it has to be sprayed after the sensor. Also not sure if I need 2 since there are 2 intakes on the 3.3t

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
