I know, I know... don't bash me.

Coming from a Veloster Turbo, the GT1 would be a huge thrill - maybe too much so (tickets?)

The old man in me likes the savings (initial cost, insurance, gas, maintenance) of the Kona.

The Mid-Life crisis in me wants a thrilling ride and says, "just deal with the loooong car, the paranoia of parking in public places, and the added cost".

Someone talk me off of the ledge....please!

You're not going to get talked off the ledge on a Stinger forum, maybe pushed off it though.

You're worried about parking? Just get a GT2 then

Hi there Greg, yes there are the perils of public parking, the OCD of trying to keep the car looking pristine but it is soooo worth it :D
Had mine for 6 months now and it is such a lot of fun, puts a smile on my face,Sonic is the best car Iv'e owned to date.
Hyundai are a good brand too but if you want your midlife crisis alleviated.....a Stinger is the way to go ;)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Why are you moving on from the Veloster?

Long car is long.

That's what 360 cameras are for.

tell the truth , you're trolling for hot interns !!!!:laugh:

You could always lease a cheap Kia/Hyundai. Been seeing 36/12 deals that possibly get under $250 with like $2k DAS (incl TTL). And then get back to Stinger after that.

Or get both so you drive the ticket-mobile less!

I *really* like my VT. I *really* hate the new body style. Much less aggressive styling (but better engine in the "N").

Over 70K miles and little things starting to go wrong. Just don't want to dump $$$ into it.

But only in the GT2, correct? You have the color profile I am most seriously considering. GT1 (2019) lease return w/8K miles. If it comes in well under $40K (I am hoping for $35K) and they can CPO it, it will be my top choice.

Only in the GT2 unfortunately, yep. One of a few reasons why I'm only eyeing the GT2 (I'm not a terrible driver, I swear!)

The HUD and 360 camera really sold me on the GT2. Not a fan of the electronic shifter though.

I've driven trucks all my life, so the stinger's size wasn't an issue, but it is a pretty big car (hitting curbs in a truck is a non-issue, not so much in the stinger)

Parking the Stinger is difficult not because of its size, but because the outer limits are out of sight. In a truck/van, it's easy to see where the body edges are and that is partly because the driver is up high, looking down on the edges. In the Stinger, the hood reaches a lot farther beyond what the driver can see.
