The paint isn't bad and it isn't thin. But some vehicles have adherence issues for some mysterious (never admitted) reason. I saw my front end starting to take hits at three months; wielded a touchup pen and put PPF on pronto. That is the answer.

You are 100% correct. Is have refused delivery in that condition. Its not the paint itself. The KIA paint isnt so bad. Got my Stinger to the painter and he found out, it had 135μm (Micrometer) paint on it. Here some data (in germany) to have an idea how good or bad that is: Audi...
