So, a local dealer is advertising a Canadian spec GT2 (GT Elite) as CPO. So I have asked them to verify that the warranty is valid (I know that a directly imported Canadian car has a voided warranty), but if it works out I am very tempted to trade my GT2 AWD for it in order to get the LSD and drift mode. I will of course verify that my credit union can lend on it and that insurance isn’t wonky… anything else I’m missing?

There are a few other things different between the two, other than the LSD (I may have my US GT2 info a bit wrong)
No front parking sensors - but you'll get the 360 cam
"full" UVO control, smartphone remote start, etc - this may not work in the US
double and triple check the warranty - and get it in writing - USA got 10year, Canada - 5Year

I think the US GT2 finally caught up with the Canadian for 22, except for the LSD and suede package option. My 22 GT2 has all the stuff you mentioned except for the LSD and drift mode.

I would fully expect to only be able to get warranty work at that dealer specifically btw, because every other US dealer would automatically deny any warranty claim before even asking Kia if they find out its a Canadian spec car, which they would find out when they pull the vin.

Also, I could very well be wrong here, But I thought I had read that the 22's had an LSD even with the AWD in them now in the USA.

Alright, I am convinced to avoid this one... too bad, it is a white with Scorpion package, which was what I wanted when I got my '22 but only ever saw ceramic Scorpions around here.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I mean, It wouldn't hurt to make the phone call to check how the CPO status would work, cuz if it really is CPO, then a dealer cant deny a legit claim if kia tells them to fix it, it just might take an extra step or two, Or you could get a dealer like mine who is super chill and will warranty basically everything under the sun. I would at least look into it before Getting your hopes dashed.
